This past weekend I witnessed the event-extravaganza called Freestyle Zurich. With over 32.000 people from all over the globe, the event was packed- and for a good reason. Skate, Snowboard, FMX and Ski competitions with ramps and slopes of MEGA sizes, a food court with Swizerland's finest beer and food, a label world with lots of freebies and shops for those who wanted to take home some goodies, and a Saturday night Riders afterparty to name a few of things that were happening over the weekend....


The weather was great, the riders were flying high and good vibes were prepairing the swiss for the season to come. Unfortunately, in the FMX finals, Maikel Melero, had a really bad landing but according to the latest updatest, he recovering and heading back to Spain. Helgason won the snowboarding finals with an wunderschones FS 1080 double cork ( that man is a machine!) and the Swiss had a double victory with Ambul and Mahler landing the first two places in the Freeski competition.
