The Labyrinth Tour 2011 (Shteia - update)
1st stop the beautifull city of XANIA
Although the weather wasn't our ally, the boys managed to get some good footage. Here are some photos from the spots we found with the help of Gianni(maybe the only skater in Xania).

2nd stop Rethymno
We didn't know what to expect of Rethymno cause there is no skate scene here and we had no feedback about the city. Just before we entered the city we stopped at a crossroad - one road was led to the center of the city and the other led to the University Of Crete. I asked Dicky : 'should we check the University first?' and the answer was: 'yeah, thats what i was thinking too'. That was the best descision we made so far cause the University is a skate paradise.
Check some photos of what went down the last 2 days at the University.

Hrakleio is the biggest city of Crete. Staying there for 4 days and with the help of Niko Kalogeraki(local skater) we were able to skate most of the city's skate spots(the city has more spots to skate for sure).
Check some photos from Eleytherias square and from some other spot we descovered.

Next and Final stop Shteia
Before we went to Shteia we had to pass by a small village called Moires 50klm south of Hrakleio to get a griptape cause the only 'skate shop' in Hrakleio wouldn't sell us a griptape without buying a deck...
The good thing is that near Moires there is a beautiful beach called Matala where hippies used to live there in the 60s'. We couldn't miss that so:
most of us had our 1st swim of 2011, including some good old fashioned cliff diving.
After our chill session in Matala we took the long road to Shteia. After 3 hours of easy rights and long medium lefts we finaly arrived to the quiet and beautiful Shteia to find the spot with the perfect round curbs and with the help of the only skater in Shteia we found some other spots as well.
Take a glimpse of what went down in Shteia
