Tsitsi turned me on to these guys and I read somewhere that Bob Dylan liked this song, so of course I had to check it out. Kings of Leon was a nice little secret back then. For us that knew about them, I think we all felt it was only a matter of time before they went huge. And they did. But this is them before all that. The father of Caleb, Jared and Nathan Followill was a preacher for the United Pentecostal Church. Their church services were very lively, involving singing, yelling,clapping, dancing, running around, rolling on the floor, etc. It also  promoted the practice of "speaking in tongues" which involved people working themselves into a state of hypnotic frenzy and "speaking" in laguages that could be considered from divine  to gibberish depending on your beliefs. Just watch the second half of this video and you can clearly see the influence. Hallelujiah!!!
