I started this Sentimentally series with no apparent criteria. It is not a themed series.The entries are random except for one thing. They take me back to various times in my life. This one especially. This is a tribute to old friends. And especially to some who are not here anymore. And to one of the greatest "unknown" bands of all time. Epic.

Lou!! The Godfather of so many bands. The originator, the original. If you don't know Lou Reed, you are seriously missing out. From the Velvets throuh his long long solo career, he always had his own style. I first bought this album used for 37 cents at Rhino Records when I was 15. It blew my mind.Still does. Lou Reed is a legend. Here he is at his grungiest.

In honor of their visit to Greece last week(even though it was without Bradley-RIP), here is one of my favorites. Sublime meets the Grateful Dead. Classic attitude, style and energy. Once again, enjoy!

I've heard this song so many times, it's ridiculous. But it never fails to put me in the most dreamy mood. One of the all time best bands doing their Beach Boys best. Enjoy!
